China's lighting and lighting industry is a booming industry with huge potential for development in the future. In recent years, with the rapid development of China's economy, China's lighting and lighting industry has also made great progress, and occupies a dominant position in the global lighting market. According to the data, the total export value of China's lighting products in 2023 will be 58.2 billion US dollars, of which the export value of LED lighting products will be 43.3 billion US dollars, accounting for 74% of the overall export value. Zhejiang is a major province in the manufacture and export of lighting appliances, the proportion of exports ranks second in the country, at present, Zhejiang lighting industry has formed an industrial agglomeration with Hangzhou, Ningbo, Shangyu and other places as the core, the annual sales of lamps and lanterns and lighting industry have exceeded 110 billion yuan, and the export volume is more than 11 billion US dollars. As an innovative highland of global cross-border e-commerce, Hangzhou has a complete cross-border e-commerce industry chain, with strong support and development from e-commerce platforms, supply chains, payment and settlement, etc., providing new opportunities and platforms for the lighting and lighting industry to expand overseas markets and products to the world. In order to further optimize the development environment of China's lighting quality and help foreign trade go overseas, comprehensively improve the quality brand development ability of enterprises and occupy the global market share, and promote the lighting brands and products to go global. Under the guidance of the superior department, the "2024 Hangzhou International Lighting and LED Lighting Expo" co-sponsored by the China Chamber of Commerce and the China Quality Center, and organized by Golden Exhibition Group-Yiwu Zhongli Exhibition Co., Ltd., is scheduled to be held at the Hangzhou Convention and Exhibition Center from August 23 to 25, 2024. The organizers hope that through the holding of the exhibition, more enterprises can obtain market information and exhibition platforms in a more timely and effective manner under the global economic recovery, subdivide the needs of the main body to connect the upstream and downstream of the industrial chain, build a professional and effective industry exchange and resource sharing platform, open up supply and demand trading and cooperation channels, and boost the brand building and high-quality development of China's lighting and lighting industry.

 




The first Yiwu Lighting Fair has successfully taken place in Yiwu in May. With a total exhibition area of 7,600 square meters, it attracted nearly 300 outstanding enterprises in the lighting and appliance industry to participate in the exhibition. A total of 16,372 professional attendees, including buyers from Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Japan, South Korea, and other countries and regions, local import and export companies, foreign trade companies, and other e-commerce platforms, attended the show with the purpose of visiting and purchasing. The numerous high-quality and attractively priced products were showcased at the exhibition, immediately captured the strong interest of buyers. During the exhibition, with the assistance of various events such as foreign trade export procurement matchmaking meeting, the on-site calculation of the intended transaction amount exceeded 100 million RMB. Yiwu Lighting Fair fully integrated resources, established a platform for communication and cooperation, and assisted numerous participating companies in completing orders with clients from Europe, America, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and other regions, which contributed to direct interaction with international customers and export channels. The Yiwu Lighting Fair not only serves as a window for innovative achievements in the lighting industry, but also provides a one-stop, high-value service for enterprises to grasp development directions, explore market opportunities, and promote innovative collaborations.




During the exhibition, there are a series of events such as Zhejiang International E-commerce Expo, Seminar on Technical Measures to Trade for Lighting and LED, Training on Testing and Certification of Lighting and LED & Matchmaking Procurement Meeting, Cross-border E-commerce Product Selection for Lighting & Overseas Buyer Matching Meeting and China Lighting Brand Summit and New Product Launch for Lighting and Decoration to be held. Experts and authoritative figures will gather at the Seminar on Technical Measures to Trade for Lighting and LED to share their ideas on domestic and international laws and regulations, export policies, technical trade barriers, policy directions, etc., exploring future market trend analysis and the latest industry technologies in the lighting industry and interpreting and boosting the future development trends to facilitate the export of lighting enterprises to foreign countries. Training on Testing and Certification of Lighting and LED & Matchmaking Procurement Meeting serves as a platform for policy interpretation, intellectual exchange, and consciousness guidance. It provides an integrated resource for the entire industry chain, establishing an efficient platform for technical exchange and trade cooperation. China Lighting Brand Summit is aimed at accelerating the construction of a strong brand nation, promoting the establishment of a new development pattern, pushing forward the high-quality development of lighting appliances, and enhancing the influence and competitiveness of Chinese brands. The release of brand evaluation results serves as a platform to showcases the spirit and image of enterprises from a branding perspective, which contributed to the construction and the promotion of Chinese brands.
